That was frustrating until I figured it out. Oh and this is important: on my computer, resolution changes don't seem to take place unless I restart my game. You can artificially zoom by lowering your resolution but the further you go the more the ui breaks. You can't zoom currently which makes small tilesets a little bit uncomfortable. So from my limited testing and research, you need to mess with your resolution a lot to get the ui to work(the scaling and other ui options never seemed to help anything, I did try them), and it seems like the bigger the tileset dimensions, the bigger monitor you need (?)-or at least smaller tilesets are more likely to not break the UI. The tile size is the exact same for those two options on my screen (9x9 1200x800 & 18x18 max res). I can make the tiles bigger either by using Taffer 18x18 and cranking the resolution all the way up or by lowering my resolution in-game to 1200x800 and using the 9x9, but the UI is cut off in some places if I do anything besides 9x9 with normal resolution (but the tiles are a little too small and you can't zoom). It took a lot of tweaking, and it's mostly just square vanilla ascii. I got Taffer 9x9 to work on a 2560x1664 13.6 inch display. If you still think this is a bad idea then don't contribute and it will quickly get buried. Regarding your concerns about the growing unwieldiness of the thread: I don't think such problems will arise in the future, especially if people read the first post and use the template. It should be completely playable as it is based off Phoebus Tileset and comes with all of its graphical assets. Template:DFtext indicates the labor which is used to construct the. This graphic and tileset is still very much a WIP. Not everyone actually cares about having a complete wiki or a list of graphics- and tilesets and thus wouldn't even consider updating the wiki I didn't plan on doing this entirely alone. Template:DFtext means that no work has been done to turn the tiles into an actual farm plot. Adding to and updating the wiki at a later date were part of my plans, yes - but seeing as the forum is far more well-visited than the wiki will ever be, this is IMHO a better place to gather screenshots and links from the crowd. I mentioned in the first post why I created this thread, see the first paragraph. Well for one "Jolly Bastion", one of the more popular tilesets which has been around for at least a few months is still missing from the Tileset repository page currently (as are more I'm sure), same goes for the graphics sets probably too. A good and reliable image hosting service is imgur. Some rules need to be set though: Please explicitly state the type of set (tile/graphics), its name and version at the time of the screenshot and if available an URL to its website/forum. It is designed to be used for free-standing tiles. If this actually turns out to be a good idea, I'll try to keep the very first post of the tread (this one) updated with what the users here have posted and assemble it into some kind of big gallery. Template:Tile can be used to display tiles close to what they appear as in Dwarf Fortress. I think creating an easily accessible thread where people can simply post a screenshot of their Dwarf Fortress instance (preferably part of the menu + part of a busy section of your fortress) with the given tile/graphic set would make things easier.

I know there is the Tileset repository and the Graphics set repository in the The Dwarf Fortress Wiki, but these are incomplete and very outdated.

Duplicate entries are also allowed if you think that you can showcase the set better/in a different way, I'll do my best to extend the gallery then accordingly. I thought that their sprites are too good to waste and started with them as a basis for a new tileset. It was born from my research about tilesets, finding old, abandoned 24x and 32x sprites by Dibujor and Obsidian Soul, both inactive since 2015. The gallery link is optional and only needed if you want to showcase more than one image. The Meph tileset was the first graphical 32x32 tileset for Dwarf Fortress. If you don't, it will make this way harder and slower than it needs to be and there's no guarantee that the set will be added quickly. When adding a new set, make a post which uses this template (the lines enclosed with brackets), just edit the text accordingly and paste it into your post.
